There are different types of anchors that are made to function with different sidewall materials. For example, anchors specifically designed to work in a tile environment may not be appropriate to use in an acrylic shower enclosure.
Your purchased product should come with tile and acrylic anchors included. Always make sure to follow the installation guidelines and double check that your purchased product is appropriately sized for your installation environment before beginning your project.
